The Eyeline Pendulum Putting Rod is the best training aid for putting I have ever used. I recently had a student who was using a putting arc and I switched him to the Putting Rod and he showed an unbelievable improvement and began putting with his shoulders and with a great pendulum action at once. I have often had players use a belly putter to get the feel of a correct stroke but they lose the feel going to their putter.
