The new Putting & Chipping Brace was developed by Michael Breed, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher, Golf Channel personality, and head golf professional at Sunningdale C. C. in Scarsdale, N. Y.

 Why use it?

In order to insure a square putter face at impact, stability of the wrists is a necessity.

The Putting & Chipping Brace provides instant feedback and makes learning the proper putting stroke simple. Using the Putting & Chipping Brace will increase the accuracy and consistency of your putts and chips. Pic 2

How does it work?
The strap is attached to your upper wrist. It keeps the distance between your forearms consistent producing "quiet" hands in the putting and chipping strokes. Because the lower wrist is not affixed to the cuff, an awareness is created of any potential breakdown in the wrists during the putting and chipping strokes.

The Brace fully adjusts to fit different grip positions. The cuffs of the brace rotate in all directions to accommodate different angles and rotations of the wrists. It is very lightweight and conveniently stays attached to your upper wrist throughout your practice.

The result?

  • “Quiet” hands create more consistent ball striking, both with putting and chipping.
  • More consistent distance control.
  • The ball will roll truer because the wrists are quiet during the stroke. This comes from delivering the putter face consistently to the ball.

It's simple to use
1. Attach the Putting & Chipping Brace to your upper wrist using the adjustable, elastic strap.

It is important to put the cuff on your upper wrist so that the “EyeLine” logo is on the upper part of the cuff, and the connector attachment is on the lower part of the cuff.

Rotate the lower cuff so connector is in the upper part of the cuff. The EyeLine logo will be on the bottom of the cuff. Pic3

2. Assume a comfortable putting position and adjust the width of the cuffs to fit your setup. Increase or decrease the width of the Brace by tightening or loosening the connection screw.  To fit your setup, you may need to install the longer or shorter connector piece and then adjust the cuffs.

3. Begin putting or chipping and concentrate on keeping your lower arm on the cuff.
