I recently had a putting lesson with Stan Utley, and purchased The Learning Curve training aid and the Learning the Curve DVD immediately afterward. Stan had used The Learning Curve with me during my lesson, so I knew firsthand that it was a valuable tool. What surprised me was the DVD. I assumed that it would be just a few perfunctory lessons from Stan on how to use the training aid. Instead, it turned out to be an extremely well-produced lesson on the fundamentals of his putting stroke (and of course, he does demonstrate the use of The Learning Curve). Although nothing can compare with a personal lesson from Stan for each individual, this DVD may be the next best thing. He does a great job of explaining putting fundamentals, and there are ample shots of his stroke in action, as well as sections where he works with a typical student. In a word, it is EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for improvement in both their putting mechanics and their confidence on the green.
